Regatta sailing is the only occasions when you will be changing sails… a lot ! – jib to gennaker to code zero to drifter to light gennaker to storm jib… – and constantly trim with winds that can range from 0 to 30 knots. You will have the opportunity, depending on your level to to prepare, hoist, drop and trim the sails efficiently for optimal speed and performance, but also to comment on tactics and positioning strategies to improve the ranking in your group.
Competent crew certificate or evidenced participation in regattas is the minimum requirement as all participants should be able to understand the assignements they will be given, according to their existing skill level.

Both regattas to the captivating island of Vis are organised by the 100 years old Sailing Club Labud, that is the cradle to many world class sailors. Vis regatta is also part of the Split Sailing festival, and with around 200 boats and over 1500 sailors participating each year, it is also a hotspot for nautical networking in Croatia.

- Pre-course experience: ISPA Competent Crew or equivalent
- possible changes due to weather conditions
