Day Skipper Bareboat Sail course is usually held on Beneteau First 36 sailing boat, a racer/cruiser from 2022 with maximum 5 attendants, or Beneteau Oceanis 51.1, a new generation, easy to handle and very comfortable sailing boat, with maximum of 6 attendants. The course attendants are accommodated on board during the whole course. This program is the logical continuation and an addition to the experience acquired in the previous Competent Crew course. It is held by instructors with very long skipper and yachting experience. The navigation area includes some of Adriatic's most beautiful and famous islands: Brač, Šolta, Hvar, Vis and Korčula. Over these six days, you will go through topics such as an independent navigational program, nautical skills, following the weather conditions, anchoring in secluded bays... Everything that it takes to develop the attendant’s sailing skills. Participants will also discover night navigation.
This course is also about discovering and learning the efficient and safe ways of life at sea such as: doing the dishes with limited water consumption, provisioning and cooking typical or easy to prepare meals, depending on the constraints of sailing.
Following daily working program is dynamic and subject to change according weather conditions.
