Advanced Regatta Jabuka

Join us on this 5-day Advanced regatta program for an incomparable offshore night race. Take part in two days of training and transfer from Split to Vodice, before the actual 110 Miles route from Vodice around Jabuka and back. Then back to Split after the award ceremony and time for sharing your regatta experience with fellow offshore sailors.

The Jabuka Regatta is a legendary offshore race in Croatia. The 110 mile enduring route from Vodice to Jabuka Island and back is in every sailor’s bucket list. Famous for the regatta night start, it is mostly the mystical Jabuka Island which puts the spell on participants, attracting sailors from beyond Croatian borders.

This race is only for advanced sailors, with some previous experience in racing. Indeed, you can expect 12 to 30 hours of uninterrupted sailing, or more. This area in November can challenge you with strong winds, storms or on the contrary, a lack of wind which will make it an even longer race.

You understood our point, to enjoy this advanced program, you better already have caught the sailing virus in uncomfortable sailing conditions!

Join us if you are ready to push your limits, stay alert without sleeping, be cold and still or active and seating under your sailing suits, and most of all, keep a playful spirit to enjoy the process 🙂

This regatta is also a good opportunity for participants to learn more about the security challenges of night sailing and offshore sailing.

Information

The sailing course is held on the sailing boat Beneteau First 36
Pre-course experience: Day Skipper level and Regatta experience
possible changes due to weather conditions
Clothing: we recommend to take your personal waterproof sailing suit, sailing boots, non-slippery sailing shoes or sneakers, warm sport clothes for winter, medication for sea sickness.
