Apply to our unique winter training courses for professional skippers and/or sailing instructors. The Ultra professional skipper clinic is an excellent opportunity for young professionals to quickly refine their competences, but it is also a very effective way to join Ultra Sailing pool of professional skippers or to qualify for sailing school instructor enrollment program. It is designed as a 2-day intensive program and will be held on our performant racer-cruiser Beneteau First 36 sailboat.

Program and Price – PROFESSIONNAL SKIPPER CLINIC

Program: 2 days

Dynamic plan (subject to adaptation to weather conditions)

• Guests relations, Ultra Sailing values
• Check in/out - Basic mechanics and electricity for skippers
• Assessing student’s sailing basics and knowledge in Collision regulation / Meteorology / Route planning
• Advanced sail trimming and steering, theory and practice on Beneteau First 36
• Safety briefing, communication with guests
• Training maneuvers and simulations with guests / hostess / students
• Safety at sea / MOB practice

Who can apply for Skipper?

Professional skippers with at least:

• Professional Croatian skipper license “Brodice C” and VHF license
• one season experience / 10 working weeks

Who can apply for Instructor?

• Sailors with experience on sport sailboats up to 28 feet (laser / ICLA, Finn, 470...)
• Sailors with experience with singlehanded sailing
• Experienced professional skippers with an affinity for sailing and teaching.

Languages
English mandatory, Croatian or German appreciated

Price: 290€

Payment: 50% deposit upon reservation. 50% two weeks before beginning of the course

NOTE:After the course, successful participants who do not yet have the Commercial Croatian license “Brodice C” and VHF license will need to obtain those at their own expense before starting collaboration.
